As it was my birthday in March, I got a bunch of art supplies from my hubby, and in among the mix, a GELLI ARTS PLATE. Boy was I one happy girl. I have been wanting one for ages, and even thought about looking at making my own plate, but decided to just go for the real thing and see if I actually enjoyed it. AND, I LOVE it!!! I love how you cant control the outcome that much, but how its tricky in that you have to sometimes wait for it to dry a bit, and sometimes pull the print straight away. Its so cool to experiment with them, and the outcome is always great. So now you have played with your plate, you have made some pretty cool prints, now what do you do with them? Well in this video I'm going to show you my first attempts and what I did with my prints. Why don't you grab your plate and play along with me.
This blog is just about me pouring my heart out on paper, whatever comes out, I love, because it was what was inside of me that day. I hope that you will enjoy some of my art. I am not a professional at this, I am self tough and still learning every day.

St Pietersburg White Nights Watercolor Review and First Impressions + free printable
Today I have a First impressions and review for all you watercolor lovers out there. I really wanted a artist grade set of watercolors to embark with me on my new found love for watercolors, and after watching so many reviews on all kinds of leading brands out there, I opted to put these on my birthday list. They are a really good option if you are comparing price vs value. They retail for $65 for 36 full pan colors. That comes to a average of $1.8 per full pan or artist grade, light-fast super vibrant pigment!!! Prima marketing has lovely colors, but they are not artist grade, or light fast, and they come to an average of $1.75 per half pan. Another example is Windsor and Newton cotmans set - 24 half pans for $42 - comes to $1.75 per half pan, Student grade. There are many examples I can list for you, but these paints are really value for money.
If you want my full honest opinions and see the color swatches, then be sure to check out my YouTube video:

Step by step tutorial - Mixed media heart canvas
Hi Everyone.
I have a new project to share with you, and I just LOVE how this came out. I have noticed that I always tend to want to create things with HEARTS, so I'm not going to fight it, just going with the flow, and doing what my HEART tells me...
I have to say, when I started creating this canvas, I really had no idea of what I wanted this to look like in the end, and I LOVE this type of play, because it allows me to play without any expectations. I wanted to try out a couple of techniques and just see how certain products would interact with each other. It was a LOVELY surprise how it came out, and I think you will enjoy the process too.
I have created a step by step tutorial for you over on my YouTube channel, so make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and just enjoy.

Weekly Challenge - TEAL
Hi all my friends, today I have a fun project to share with you.
I have started a new challenge on my Facebook sharing group and you can find the prompts in the pined post.
This week the challenge was Teal, which is one of my favorite colors, so luckily I had no problem with that.
Here's how I made it:
Step 1: Apply texture paste through a stencil. I used the Faber-Castell mixed media stencil 101.
Step 2: Apply watered down Calypso Teal acrylic paint from dylusions in some spots, and more strong color in others.
Step 3: Apply liquitex Ink in turquoise.
Step 4: Apply some Pebeo Gold paint diluted with water in some ares over the texture.
Step 5: Add some Embellishment mousse in Pacific teal.
Step 6: I embellished the tag with a mermaid stamp and colored with copic markers.
Step 7: Add some transparent resin dots
